Is Love Understandable?

Sorry I haven't been posting the way I've said I would in the past. I've just graduated high school and been busy with so many things. Anyway, I've found some time here, and my topics aren't going to be really intense as I am still very busy with my schedule right now, but I wrote this the other night where it starts off as like a poem/story but then it gets deeper and deeper as you read. So, enjoy. Hopefully it has SOME meaning to it. :)

I see the way you look at me,
When you think I can't see you.
When our eyes touch,
Everything surrounding freezes.
And my heart lies still,
For it knows much deeper than my conscience.
But deep down, my inner-self fears.
Fears the loss, pain and the sorrow.
I can't be broken anymore than I have,
Cause it hurts...
Like a needle being forced into the skin much deeper than it can go.
Like, what if you don't love me?
It's such an emotion to take on.
But SO many people lack the understanding.
Why?...
Personally, I understand through God,
But not all people understand Him,
The Almighty who loves and IS love within Himself.
When will people better understand love?
It is to my own reasoning that love will not be fully understood,
Until we understand God alone.
For He loves us and teaches us how to love.
And until then, Love can not be made clear to us.

Best quote ever: "Everyone says love hurts, but that isn't true. Loneliness hurts. Rejection hurts. Losing someone hurts. Envy hurts. Everyone gets these things confused with love, but in reality love is the only thing in this world that covers up all pain and makes someone feel wonderful again. Love is the only thing in this world that does not hurt." ~Unknown
